Hey, my name is Emily
Hi, I'm Emily—a wife, homeschooling mom of four, and the photographer behind The Enchanted Bow.
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Some of my greatest joys have come from capturing the fleeting moments of my own children—the genuine smiles, quiet wonder, and little details that pass by far too quickly.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll most likely find me at the ballet studio. My daughters have fallen in love with dance, and this little photography business is one way I'm helping support their dreams while pursuing one of my own.
My goal is simple: to create beautiful, timeless portraits that celebrate childhood and preserve the memories you'll treasure for years to come.

Do you only photograph ballet dancers?
No! Although ballet is my greatest inspiration, I photograph dancers of all styles including Irish, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap and more. I also offer seasonal storybook portrait experiences for children who simply love to dress up, dream big, and create a little magic. Every child is welcome at The Enchanted Bow.
What should my child wear?
For a regular session, we recommend simple, timeless attire that allows your child's personality to shine. Ballet dancers are welcome to wear a favorite leotard, tutu, rehearsal skirt, or performance costume depending on the collection you've chosen. We'll provide a styling guide after booking with outfit inspiration, color recommendations, and tips to help create beautifully cohesive portraits.
My child is shy. What if they won't smile or pose?
Don't worry, that's completely normal! Every session is relaxed and child-led. Rather than expecting perfect poses from the start, I gently guide each child through the experience, allowing genuine expressions and personality to unfold naturally. Some of the most beautiful portraits happen in the quiet, in-between moments.
How long does a session last?
Most portrait sessions last approximately one hour. This allows plenty of time for your child to become comfortable, explore different poses, and create a beautiful variety of images without feeling rushed.
When will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will be delivered within approximately 2–3 weeks. Each image is individually hand-edited with care to create the timeless, fine art style The Enchanted Bow is known for.
